Hotel Hilton Westchester (Rye Brook, USA)

It was clearly the public areas of the hotel that most impressed guest’s during their stay. They especially liked the lobby and the outdoor garden and seating areas, which they said were stylish and very well designed.

A number of guests mentioned they felt they were close enough to both Port Chester and White Plains to allow them to explore these areas for all the shopping, dining and other amenities they needed during their stay.

Guest after guest mentioned being very impressed with the staff at the hotel. They were described as very professional and efficient in how they dealt with their guests, but softened with a friendly attitude that made them easy to approach.

A number of guests experienced problems with room service some reported that they simply couldn’t get hold of them to place an order in the first place, while others spoke of incredibly long wait times between placing the order and receiving the food.

Guests complained that the design of the hotel meant that the parking lot was some distance from the hotel and its lobby entrance. Over the course of a stay they seemed to get tired of having to walk that distance multiple times.

Guests were clearly not happy with the breakfast arrangements at the hotel. For a start, there was no complimentary breakfast, which some guest should have been the case given the high room-rate. Secondly, the charge for breakfast was considered much too high, with the food offered simply not matching the price.
