Negative Reviews
negative:
Noisy motorway.
Some rooms offer beautiful mountain views while others look on to a busy motorway. Guests facing the motorway found it difficult to get a good nights’ sleep due to the consistent traffic noise. Other guests complained that there was no sound proofing in the rooms and the activities of neighbouring guests were quite loud at times.
negative:
Value for money not found.
Some guests were disappointed by the size and quality of their rooms. The standard rooms in particular were found to be small in size. Complimentary toiletries were not provided which is unusual for a 4-star hotel. Some guests felt that the contemporary decor lacked warmth and charm, while others commented that the furnishings were old, worn and in need of replacement.
negative:
Attention to cleanliness needed.
At times housekeeping did not perform their duties to a high standard. The rooms and bathrooms were not always cleaned very well, and the carpets in particular were dirty.
