Positive Reviews
positive:
Diverse and well prepared breakfast
At the hotel, both hot and cold menus were inexpensive and guests had a wide variety of options to choose from. Majority of guests were very pleased with the effort put into the breakfast that was served every morning at hotel.
positive:
Great central location and easily accessible
The Latvian National Museum of Art is less than a kilometre away from hotel. The old city of Riga is less than 15 minutes' stroll from the property. Its central location enables you to go shopping or sightseeing without straying too far.
positive:
Clean and cosy rooms and public areas
The hotel is suitable for families with children as they were well accommodated at the hotel rooms. All the rooms were well arranged and furniture is well maintained, modern and tastefully selected. The bathrooms are clean and daily housekeeping is available in all of the rooms. Public areas are also very clean and easy to navigate.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The building has no elevator
Guests on higher floors felt greatly inconvenienced as they had to use the stairs every now and then. If you have heavy luggage, moving up and down can prove to be tiresome.
negative:
Relatively poor sound padding in the rooms
Guests who were unlucky to have noisy neighbours could hide their frustrations as they were disturbed by their constant loud chats. Most of them felt that the soundproofing wasn't adequate enough.
negative:
The hotel's Wi-Fi speeds aren't quick
The hotel's wireless internet connectivity was not satisfying. In most areas and especially in the rooms, the signal seemed weak. At times connecting to the network was quite hard as the signal was erratic.
