Positive Reviews
positive:
In interesting neighbourhood
A couple of guests mentioned that the area the hotel is in is predominantly residential, with lots of local people from Alanya. For some, this was preferable to the beachfront area, where a large proportion of the people are tourists, and the atmosphere is very different.
positive:
Quite a few English channels on TV
While guests certainly do not come to Alanya to watch TV, some did like to take the odd break from the beach and nightlife and watch a bit of TV, and when they did they were certainly glad that there were quite a few English stations to choose from.
positive:
Decent variety of food
Though reviews were somewhat mixed, most guests seemed to find the food reasonable good. Several mentioned that there was a good variety available, so even after a week they had not become bored with what was on offer.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Lack of heating in winter
A surprising number of recent guests travelling in the winter reported that the hotel has no heating. Since this part of Turkey certainly can get cold in winter they felt a bit chilly, and the small space heaters that staff put in the restaurant were simply insufficient to heat that room up.
negative:
Can get a bit rowdy
Though not described as the worst they'd ever experienced, several guests mentioned that the hotel can get a bit rowdy, and not only in the public areas like the bar and pool area, but guests also seem to party in their rooms, disturbing other guests.
negative:
Entertainment not much good
Even guests who otherwise had a terrific stay agreed that the entertainment put on by the hotel was simply not very good. In their minds it would have been better to not have any acts at all, rather than very poor acts.
