Hotel Executive Inn (Dallas, USA)

If you can ignore the dodgy people, the price you pay for the accommodation just may be worth it. You won't get much more, but the price isn't too much for what you get either.

The convenience of the location is OK. You will find restaurants and other simple attractions.

The hotel is nothing near a top-rated hotel; however, the rooms are clean enough. The bed is not uncomfortable and the bathroom is a good size.

You never know what smell you might encounter upon entering your room. It could smell like cigarette smoke, or old mold, or musky, the possibilities are endless. It's just off-putting and makes you want to turn right around and check-out the hotel.

There is no security and the front desk is basically abandoned much of the time. You will probably get a hint when you walk in the lobby and see the reception behind glass, that's a good indicator right there.

You name it, it's there. Loud noise, vandalism, crime, it's like a bad movie. Don't be surprised to find hookers hanging around. The cops will make frequent stops and you may even see fire trucks. The occasional shooting might be the news of the day. On another note, you may have itching in the night from one of the most hated critters in the world-bed bugs! In addition, the housekeeping speaks no English so it's hard to communicate if you need anything. It's just not a cool place and certainly not for families!
