Quiet and comfy rooms.
Let's face it - whether you've arrived in preparation for a hideously early flight, or you've just arrived back, full of jet-lag, all you really want is a quiet room with a comfy bed where you can get some much-needed rest. According to guests, that's exactly what this Econo Lodge offers, so relax and enjoy!
positive:
Friendly, helpful staff.

Negative Reviews
negative:
It could do with an update.
Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Airport Windsor Locks is showing its age somewhat, and a lick of paint here and there wouldn't go amiss. Guests say that the decor is pretty outdated, and some of the amenities, particularly the TVs, are quite old and no longer working brilliantly, so it needs some TLC.
negative:
Issues with the air conditioning.
Numerous guests have complained that the air conditioning doesn't do a good enough job of cooling the rooms - it seems to be a particular problem in the suites, where the separate bedrooms don't have their own air con units, so can become overly hot in the summer.
negative:
Smells of old smoke.
For non-smokers, the smell in much of this hotel is not an appealing one - it seems that cigarette smoke pervades many of the rooms, and air-fresheners don't always do the trick. Soft furnishings probably need a deep clean, or replacing altogether, to eliminate the smell.
