Excellent breakfast
The breakfast at Delta Krakow came in for quite a bit of praise. It was a Polish style buffet, and guests felt that there was a bit of everything, so they didn't have any trouble finding something they liked.
Situated on the outskirts of the Old Town, Hotel Delta Hotel offers guests cosy accommodation in a stylish property with trendy exposed brick and other design elements. The rooms are comfortably furnished, while the décor uses rich colours to create an evocative mood. Each room features en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV, work desk, telephone, minibar, hairdryer and in-room safe. Reception is open 24 hours and can assist with laundry, luggage storage and local information. Free tea and coffee is available in the lobby, as is a communal computer. Breakfast is available in the dining room every morning, and consists of a good variety of continental buffet options. While not actually in the Old Town itself, it is not too far away and offers a lot in terms of sights and street life. Krakow’s iconic Wawel Royal Castle is about 1.7 miles from Hotel Delta Krakow.

Again and again guests mentioned how helpful the hotel's staff were. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for them when it came to making sure that their guests had all they needed for the makings of a good holiday. Also, their English language skills were said to be excellent.
While not right in the Old Town, guests describe it as a fairly short walk away. Of course they liked being able to walk to the historical sights and the vibrant streetlife of the Old Town. In most cases this was the reason they had made the trip.
Guests speak about the walls being “paper thin”, and not doing much of anything to keep the sound from adjacent rooms travelling through at will. There was apparently also quite a lot of street noise that drifted up to the rooms facing it.
Guests report that there weren't any non-Polish channels on the TV. While it is always fun to make up one's own subtitles when watching TV in a language you don't understand, this is not everyone's cup of “herbata”. Some guests simply wanted to be able to relax in front of the TV and watch a program or two in English.
As is unfortunately often the case in many hotels, some guests report booking a room with a double bed, only to find that they had received two beds pushed together. Of course that was not the same as a double bed, and they were a little upset about it.
