All you want and need in a hotel room is here. Rooms are cleaned regularly and they're well maintained. They reflect the obvious high level of updating that is ongoing throughout the building. The bar, for instance, is transformed and is now a lovely place to relax at the end of the day.
In the room, baths haven't been cleaned in ages and the entire area seems to be uncared for and downbeat. Outside, stray dogs are wandering around, giving rise to the feeling that the hotel and its location are far from perfect.
Depending on the time of day and the numbers of guests using the facility, showers can go down to virtually nil water supply. Not an uncommon complaint, but inconvenient and annoying, nevertheless.
The air conditioning has given up the ghost. So too, has the refrigerator in the room and the WiFi doesn't function as it should. When it comes to addressing and dealing with legitimate complaints, staff can turn a bit aggressive and appear to be unenthusiastic about reaching a solution. Every time a car enters over the security strip, there's the sound of loud music-so, yes .. something does work here!
