Hotel Colorseum Guest House (Rome, Italy)

The rooms are found to be very clean and comfortable by many guests. The bed mattresses were found to be comfortable and the rooms modern with nice furnishings. It was kept clean on a daily basis.

The hotel is found in a very central area of Rome, within a short walking distance from the Colosseum and other tourist spots. The metro and train stations are also close to the hotel, as well as restaurants and bars. It was ideal for those looking to be close to the Colosseum.

Many guests mentioned the staff members were very friendly, especially the owner who was welcoming to guests. They felt the customer service was good and unobtrusive. They were there when one needed them.

Some guests were disappointed to find there was no 24-hour reception. The check-in was only during certain hours and they normally work until the afternoon. If one check in or out of hours they are charged an extra fee. This was found to be inconvenient.

The loud noises could be heard clearly by many guests who found the insulation to be minimal. The noises coming from other rooms and from the outdoor traffic was too much for some to feel relaxed.

Many guests were upset and disappointed that the rooms did not have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. They would have preferred to have the option of making their own hot beverages.
