Positive Reviews
positive:
It's in a great location
Previous guests loved the location of Clos La Boëtie. It is close enough to the charming, medieval town that guests could walk there in about ten minutes, but also far enough removed to cut down on the accompanying noise and traffic.
positive:
The employees are friendly
With few exceptions, guests reported receiving excellent customer service during their stay at Clos La Boëtie. They also noted that the concierge staff was very helpful with recommendations and directions.
positive:
The rooms are lovely and spacious
Guests appreciated the attention to detail that obviously went into each uniquely themed room, and noted that the rooms were quite spacious.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Parking can be hard to come by
The hotel does not offer parking. Instead, guests must find parking on the street or at one of the many paid lots nearby. While some guests took this in stride, others found it to be an unnecessary inconvenience and expense.
negative:
Don't expect a bell boy
The hotel bill itself as being four stars, and that gave many guests high expectations that some felt were not quite met. Most notably, many complained that when they arrived there was no one to help them with their luggage, something they were accustomed to at other hotels.
negative:
The breakfast is limited
Clos La Boëtie provides a continental breakfast which guests described as being nice, but rather limited in selection. Guests can also pursue the hot breakfast buffet at their sister hotel next door, but many guests did not find their selection favorable either, and did not appreciated having to go next door for it.
