Positive Reviews
positive:
Fabulous contemporary designs.
This hotel is a masterpiece of contemporary style, incorporating a wide variety of modern architecture and art to create a stunning final product. Every aspect of your personal room (as well as those of the shared facilities) is bright, new, and sleek.
positive:
One of the city's best breakfasts.
Although it's not included in the reservation cost, it would be a mistake to skip the breakfast service at this hotel. Everything from traditional egg dishes to exotic pastries are free for the taking, and the portions are large enough to ensure that the dining service is never bare.
positive:
In the heart of Madrid.
With access to the nearby metro, bus stations, and major walking paths, seeing Madrid is a breeze. This property is centrally located in the city, offering unbeatable proximity to the district's historical landmarks, commercial zones, and dining hotspots.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Lacking air-conditioning units.
Despite air-conditioning being provided in every room, you'll often wish that the units provided more cooling power. The building's shared facilities are stifling, and unfortunately, the private guest areas aren't much better during Spain's hottest seasons.
negative:
Rooms require more illumination.
Numerous guests described the bedrooms as being especially dim, making it difficult to read or do other tasks that require proper lighting. Most rooms don't feature lamps directly beside the bed, and require you to be near the work desk for adequate light.
negative:
Bathrooms have little privacy.
The doors on every bathroom are made of an opaque material, which means that fellow guests will be able to look into the bathroom while it's in use. This can be a major issue if you're concerned about privacy in shared quarters, and it can't be remedied by shifting rooms.
