Positive Reviews
positive:
Lots of things to do and places to visit
There are plenty of interesting places to visit in the vicinity of the apartments. That's right; you are right in the heart of Old Barcelona. There are good bars and restaurants nearby, and most of these places are affordable. The surrounding area is also quite lively.
positive:
Apartments are nice and cosy
The apartments are clean and comfortable. All the necessities are provided therein; there's even a sofa bed. And if you get a room with a rooftop patio, your experience will only get better.
positive:
Ease of movement
There are many ways you can get around if you're staying at this place. The hotel sits in an area of Barcelona that's well suited for walking, and there is a metro station close by. You can get a taxi easily, too.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Hot showers don't last
The hot water in the showers comes from a small hot-water tank. Meaning, the hot showers will not last much longer than five minutes. If there's more than one guest in the apartment, chances are high someone will have a cold shower.
negative:
Location is a bit hard to find
The entrance to the building is in some sort of alleyway, and finding it without someone to guide you will be a game of chance. It's definitely not the sort of place you'd want to arrive at late in the night.
negative:
Check-in is at a separate location
Checking in at this place is anything but straightforward. However, the most annoying part is when you have to check in at a different location before moving with your luggage to the apartments.
