Positive Reviews
positive:
Plenty of private outdoor space
On top of the two outdoor swimming pools with their drinks bars and sun loungers, the resort includes a garden, rooms with private balconies or terraces and a private beach where guests can swim, snorkel and even enjoy a spa treatment with minimal disturbance.
positive:
Family-friendly entertainment
There's fun to be had for both adults and children at the Celuisma Cabarete. There's a games room and an animation team which leads activities for the kids most mornings, giving the adults a chance to relax or perhaps enjoy their own activities such as tennis at the adjacent courts, for example. Furthermore, up to five people can be accommodated in a room.
positive:
Budget friendly for a peaceful break
If you're looking for a simple place to enjoy great beaches and some quiet time without breaking the bank, this hotel is a good choice.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not a lot of activity in immediate area
The hotel is in a slightly remote area and there are not many businesses around, for example restaurants, bars, adventure companies, etc. There are however many of Puerto Rico's best stretches of beach right at the doorstep, so those looking for a relaxing, quiet break may prefer this.
negative:
Maintenance needs attention
A number of areas of the hotel show signs of age and do need revamping, for example the grounds generally, some building exteriors, furniture and fittings and overall cleanliness.
negative:
Limited dining options
Although there are a number of restaurants, only one is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it has limited choices and little change from day to day in its buffet set-up. For more options eating out, one could take a taxi or a motorbike taxi to the town, around ten minutes away.
