The rooms are cosy and simple. A change of towels is routinely provided, and the communal toilet and shower is kept clean in an acceptable manner.
Due to the hostel's location, it's easy to get around everywhere. You are a few steps from the main square and the Jewish quarter along with a selection of places to party, if you like night clubbing. Tourist hotspots are right there and the walk from the train station is only a few minutes away. There are a ton of shops in the neighbourhood and the bus service is just around the corner.
The shower is extremely small, it's almost impossible to stand up in it! There are no lockers, unless they are hidden somewhere. Breakfast is very basic. They offer bread, cheese, cereal, coffee, and tea, but it's better than nothing. The kitchen actually has no place to cook and the entrance has to be opened by the hostel staff each time. However, this may have been because of an issue with the door.
The rooms are too dark. It's strange when you are getting dressed as you have to use the communal area in order to see what you look like!
Walls are thin and the floors are creaky. Then again, it is a hostel so you kind of expect these things to a certain extent.
