    Closest Guesthouse and Backpackers to Groote Schuur Hospital and UCT Medical School welcoming guests since 1994. Situated in Observatory, heart of Cape Town's Academic, Student and Artistic communities. In addition to the Hospital where the first successful human heart transplant was performed, the area has a Science Centre, Hockey field, Golf Driving Range and the original Observatory for observing the stars as well as quaint coffee shops and eateries. We have a range of accommodation from a Guesthouse to dormitory to flats available for a few months rentals. Ideal for visiting Academics, Students and the local NGO sector. We are on the Southern Suburbs Train line which goes from Cape Town all the way to Simonstown.
