Guests note that this has recently gone through a re make as it has now changed hands to become a Holiday Inn. For those who feel that this property is a tad worn down and a bit dated, this renovation comes as great news.

Despite the current renovation work at this hotel, a number of guests have expressed consistent concerns regarding dirty hallways and stained carpets. Refurbishment is slowly being carried out on a floor by floor basis, so it may be some time until these issues are tackled.

While the rooms here appeared to be relatively comfortable, many guests were disappointed to find that the in-room amenities - especially the Wi-Fi and televisions - were inadequate. Wi-Fi connectively appeared to be consistently slow and a number of visitors were surprised to find that TVs were old-school and blocky rather than sleek and HD.
