St. George Inn enjoys a central location in the heart of the Old Town of St Augustine, conveniently situated for shops. Close to the action yet quiet, most of the local attractions are within walking distance.

The hotel is charming, and is a striking change from the modern chain hotels most are used to. Rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and rockers on balconies. The courtyard is an ideal relaxation spot, and the whole place has an olde world feel.

All staff at the hotel are excellent; friendly and welcoming, and offer brilliant customer service. All the little touches are there which make a stay feel more personal- staff remember names and favourite drinks, and are on hand to assist with bags; all things you might not expect in a small hotel.

St. George Inn is situated in a pedestrianized zone, so traffic noise is kept to a minimum. There is, however, a neighbouring tavern which does occasionally attract a louder crowd, and music and raised voices may be heard.

Given its central location, it is perhaps unsurprising that parking is an issue. Guests can load and unload their luggage directly outside the hotel but, you'll need to find a spot in the neighbouring public car park, and it will cost you.

As with most hotels, there is room for improvement. The Wi-Fi is not the strongest and, while it is free, most would like to see some upgrades done. Rooms also have a fridge- perfect for those storing medicine, cold drinks and special diets, but some have suggested a microwave in rooms would also be useful.
