The rooms have a cozy old fashioned interior decor and are furnished with antique furniture. Beds are quite comfortable and assured a good sleep. The huge antique grandfather clock gives it a nice old time touch. The roll-down shutters are very good. The garden at the back is a delight to see early in the morning, say guests.
The owners and the staff were very cordial and helpful. They went above and beyond to make the guests feel at home. Guests were allowed to use the clothes line, helped with their luggage and even provided a gluten free breakfast at no extra cost.
Most of the guests loved the pure organic breakfast served here. It included very good quality bread selection, aromatic coffee, pastry, butter, jam, and fresh fruit juice served in china service. The hotel was located quite close to the town centre with plenty of restaurants close by that the guests could explore.
One of the biggest concerns faced by most of the guests was the narrow stairs with no elevator. Climbing up these stairs (55 in total) with luggage was a Herculean task as well as unsafe for many guests.
Few guests found the bathrooms to be so small that they could sit on the loo only sideways.
Some of the guests felt that a kettle or a tea/coffee making equipment would be very convenient in case they want to have a refreshing cup of a hot beverage.
