Positive Reviews
positive:
Central, Cosy and Clean
This location is optimal for the traditional fishing town of Dingle, being right in the heart of things and steps from the harbour. There's plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and the rates are very affordable. Spotless accommodations throughout and plenty of secure off-street parking.
positive:
Comfortable Rooms
Rooms are kept in pristine condition, bright and cheery, with excellent views on the bay side. Ask for a bay-facing, upper level room if possible.
positive:
Wonderful Hospitality
The host family and their friendly dog, Buddy, are sure to exceed your expectations. Welcoming, informative and helpful, they'll assist with all you need to make your visit great!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Road-Facing Rooms
Being just a few feet from the busy road, traffic noise is going to be an issue if you book a road-facing room. In addition, ground floor rooms often have a regular flow of pedestrian traffic past the windows, making it essential to keep the curtains drawn for privacy.
negative:
Continental Options Sparse at Breakfast
If you prefer the fry-up breakfast, you'll likely have a better selection than the continental lovers. Some days are worse than others. Only a few cheese cubes and porridge may be left on some mornings, after others enjoyed assorted fresh fruits, a variety of cereals with toppings, yogurts, juices and meats just days earlier. There are alternatives nearby if you find your choices lacking.
negative:
A Few Room Issues
A lack of toiletries provided, missing items (like remote controls for the televisions), hard beds or unpleasant heat systems being turned on even in the summer may lessen your fun. Ask for what you need or simply bring it with you if you can. A fan may not be a bad idea.
