The recently refurbished Castle Gate, previously a Victorian townhouse in Northumberland county, provides convenient bed and breakfast accommodation only two minutes’ walk from Alnick town centre. Each of the six rooms features an en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and modern comforts such as luxurious bed linen and towels. Castle Gate accommodates its guests and their breakfast needs including early breakfast if required. There is also an Internet café nearby and a lock up garage for bicycles. Breakfast includes simple, vegetarian or full English options for guests to start their day as they wish. The town of Alnwick offers its visitors a variety of restaurants, inns and pubs to choose from. The many shops, galleries and museums of Alnwick are all within walking distance, as is Alnwick Castle, Garden and Playhouse. There is also a Leisure Centre within driving distance.
