The Garden Studio is a one bedroom self-catering apartment on the second floor of the Townhead of Glencairn, which is an early Victorian mansion set in a stunning 3 acre garden. The accommodation has recently been renovated with a new bathroom (with a walk in shower), a fully fitted kitchen (with cooker, hob, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer), a living room with TV and free wifi, plus a bedroom with a large walk-in wardrobe. All rooms have great views of the garden and the hills beyond. The apartment is in the hamlet of Kirkland and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It is less than 2 miles from the village of Moniaive, which is known as the "coolest village in Britain" according to The Times newspaper. Moniaive has two pubs, two restaurants, a café, a general shop, a post office and a petrol station. Dumfries is 14 miles away and Glasgow and Edinburgh are only an hour and a half away. The Garden Studio is dog friendly.
