You find our apartment, Il Sasso sul Cipresso, in the historical city centre of Lucca, within the town wall and just a short hop from the central shopping street Via Fillungo, the famous square Piazza San Michele and other sights of the old city. Our 65 m2 apartment was fully renovated in 2012. It is situated in the 1st floor and is reached by a stone staircase. High value was set on the selection of materials and facilities to make you feel at home. The ceiling is of traditional Tuscan wood truss, the floor is composed of Italian cypress and further wooden details, so you will find a rustic ambiance. From the vestibule you enter the living room, equipped with a sofa which can serve as a bed for two persons. Behind a fancy screen of boards there is a wardrobe. There is a modern equipped eat-in kitchen and another sofa (offering space to sleep for one person) and a cast-iron tile stove. The bedroom is provided with a double bed of solid wood and an antique commode. The double washbasin of concave sanded boulder is unique.
