positive:
Lovely views of the sea
This hotel is in a very central position on Blackpool
promenade, and as such a number of rooms have views looking out over the sea. Guests
understandably enjoy these great views.
positive:
Comfortable beds
The number one prerequisite for getting a good night's sleep has to be having a comfortable bed. Well, guests are happy to report that the beds at this hotel are indeed comfortable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Could be cleaner
High standards of cleanliness in a hotel are usually taken
as a given by guests before they even arrive. However, and unfortunately, a
number of guests have said that the standard of cleaning here is not up to
scratch. If spotlessness matters to you, you might find yourself disappointed
by this hotel.
negative:
In need of refurbishment
The facilities and amenities at this hotel are said to be poor, and this is largely down to the state of the hotel itself. Despite advertising the fact there is a bar, for example, many guests have been disappointed to find that the bar is closed and in an apparent state of disrepair.
negative:
Mixed reports on the owners
Some guests are happy with the owners here and describe them as friendly and helpful. However, there are also a number of guests who describe the owners as being rude and unhelpful! Perhaps it is down to personality clashes between the owners and some guests, but either way it is something worth bearing in mind before you book.
