Easy access to downtown Victoria
The hotel provides easy access to downtown Victoria and the harbor. Many sites and attractions are within walking distance, including the Imax theater, Royal BC Museum and Beacon Hill Park which you can reach within 10-minutes' walk. Taking the scenic route through the park you can also reach the Mile Zero Monument within 20-minutes. Further afield, Butchart Gardens and Thetis Lake Regional Park are less than 30-minutes drive away.

Well appointed rooms
The rooms are modern, well appointed, beautifully furnished, equipped with comfortable beds and kept clean by daily housekeeping. Some rooms also included a balcony with views of the harbor.

Noisy at times
The hotel premises can be noisy at times. Some guests reported that in cases where functions were being hosted at the hotel, the premises became very loud and noisy which made it difficult to get a sound nights sleep.

Outdated guest rooms
Some guests reported that, while the lobby was modern and well appointed, in contrast, the guest rooms were dark and dingy and the furnishings old and outdated. In some rooms the walls were dirty and the wall paper peeling. The couches were worn and appeared to be of cheap quality.

Expensive extras and poor service
Some guests felt that the restaurant was too expensive for the quality of the food and service offered. The parking is also a paid for service which some guests felt was too expensive.
