The Lentemaheerd is a special overnight location with the cozy and homely of a farm and the luxury of a hotel. In 2015 voted best Rural guest accommodation in the Netherlands. With us you have the choice of seven hotel rooms, each with its own atmosphere. A room has a cozy bedstead and two of our rooms are wheelchair friendly and can be equipped with extra aids. As a result, disabled people can enjoy the peace, space and expansiveness of Groningen with us. De Lentemaheerd is situated in a quiet area, within walking distance of the village of Uithuizermeeden. Located near LF10 Wadden Sea route, the North Sea Cycle route and the cycle route Rondje Groningen. Ideal starting point for a hiking or cycling holiday. Cycling and walking routes and lots of tourist information available. From the Lentemaheerd enjoy the beautiful gardens, guards, churches and museums in Groningen, visit the German island of Borkum or make a search in the open-air museum in Warffum. But the Lentemaheerd is also suitable for groups. With 17 sleeping places ideal for example a family weekend or club outing.
