The Munilla Casino is located in the Villa de Munilla, a very important town until a century ago for its textile and chocolate industry, as well as a large center for sheep farming and wool production. This beautiful building, dating from 1872, consists of four floors, with an area of ​​1,400 square meters and a courtyard of 350 square meters. The upper floor was used as the home of the concierge-provider and his family, with rooms and services for the hostel, which was essential for merchants and vendors who came to the municipality. Today on this floor is the Rural House. The first floor was the social center proper. In this were the Winter Hall, Hall of Mirrors, Reading Room, Library, secretariat, etc. In these spaces is where currently the bar and the restaurant are located. The ground floor mainly contained the Theater Hall, which was also used for other cultural activities, and the garage to store the horse-drawn carriages.
