Set on the Grande Allée, Auberge du Quartier is a short walk away from from a choice of bars, cafes and restaurants, local shops and supermarkets. The Plains of Abraham and the National Museum of Fine Arts are less than ten-minutes' walk away, and the Old Town can be reached within15-minutes' walk.

Guests found the rooms to be well appointed and decorated with bright, tasteful furnishings and large, comfortable beds. The rooms were also described as clean and spacious and those with upgraded rooms enjoyed a fireplace and balcony. The staff have been described as friendly and welcoming, attentive and helpful. Guests with children also complimented staff on their thoughtfulness for providing children with marshmallows that they could roast on the fire of the rooftop terrace.
