Positive Reviews
positive:
Amidst the lap of nature
The
hotel is located on the banks of the River Eden, also known as the salmon
river. The view of the garden which had flowers like daffodils, tulips and bluebells
growing all around was lovely. The nearby areas are the best spots for fishing
both salmons and trouts. Some of the guests also loved watching the other
people fly-fishing in the clean river water. They also enjoyed walking along
the riverside.

Beautiful rooms and bathrooms
Spacious
rooms are done up aesthetically with beautiful furnishings. The bathrooms are
also done up well. They were huge and the showers were fabulous. The
kitchenette is also well equipped wherein the guests can prepare their own
meals when they don’t want to eat out. As per many guests, the beds were one of
the most comfortable beds that they had ever slept on.

Cheerful staff
Ever-smiling and happy staff made all the guests feel warm and at home. They were very flexible and went out of their way to cater to all the concerns of the guests. Serving a cup of warm tea and homemade biscuits in the garden was a very nice gesture. Dog-lovers also loved the onsite pet dog, Boots, who was always ready to greet the guests.
