The Plantation Bed &Breakfast is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains among acres of orange Groves. only 16 miles from Sequoia National Park. The Plantation is a peaceful country getaway in a small citrus community with a population of 190. Yet conveniently located on the two lane scenic Highway 198 with tourist attractions and over 200 restaurant with in 20 minute drive. For over 100 years this 4500 square foot home on twenty acres of orange groves know as Mesa Verde Citrus Plantation. In 1996 the house was transformed into a bed and breakfast and remains on two of the orginal twenty acres. Step back in time an walk though the original settlers' house, built from river rock in 1880. Stroll through the lawn and acre of palm trees you will also see orange trees plum trees, apricot, fig fig trees and banana plants, grape Vines herb garden. The swimming pool and jacuzzi hot tub which is located in the Palm tree Grove for privacy open 24 hours so slip into a fluffy robe and go for a soak in the jacuzzi to unwind while you enjoy millions of stars in a peaceful country night.
