They have a television, DVD player and facilities to make hot drinks. The guesthouse has ground floor. There is an on-site restaurant which serves contemporary European food along with traditional Italian dishes and seafood. Ingredients are locally sourced where possible. Guests can avail of Casa Romano's lounge bar with its extensive wine menu or the sports bar with its large screen. Outside there is a terrace area overlooking the sea and garden. Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The hotel's location allows day trips by car to the Tate St. Ives and Mount's Bay. It takes fifteen minutes to walk to Tregenna Castle and Golf Club.
Staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to treat guests well. Their professional attitude makes staying at this guest house a pleasant experience. The chef too when talking to guests is approachable and makes a meal memorable.

There is a restaurant and two bars attached to the guest house. Guests with children found these to be child-friendly. The meals are delicious and include fish dishes and steak. Lunches and breakfasts are also excellent.
Rooms are basic rather than luxurious. However, family rooms are spacious with plenty of space for children, cots and luggage. Other guests found rooms on the small side with non-scenic views through the windows.
In the smaller rooms, the bathrooms are equally as tiny. Bathrooms can be basic and have a makeshift, cobbled-together feel. Some guests complained of a musty smell and damp.
