The vast majority of guests who've stayed here have sung the praises of the highly generous, all-you-can-eat buffet-style breakfast. Along with cereals, juices, yoghurts and fresh fruit, you're offered an extensive range of cooked items including black pudding, potato cakes and even haggis. You can have as many drinks as you like too.
Most visitors agreed that the supremely warm welcome and attentive service offered by the couple who run this hotel is reason enough to come here in itself. Evidently, this is old-school hospitality at its very best.
Being able to look out over the promenade and sea as soon as you step out of the front door is a treat which never gets dull. Very few guests who stayed in front-facing accommodations felt let down by the views from their windows either.
Whilst some guests liked being based a little way out from the centre of Blackpool, many more lamented that this part of the coast feels a little too isolated. That being said, there's a bus stop and tram stop very close by.
There are just 11 bays available for guests to park their vehicles in here. The aspect which irked most visitors though is that the bays are arranged on a double-grid system, a strategy which invariably means some cars end up getting blocked in.
Numerous guests have complained about the free Wi-Fi here. The signal, it seems, is just not strong enough to maintain a decent connection within many of the accommodations.
