About Château du Grand Jardin
For a truly enchanting weekend break or holiday, indulge yourself in a stay in this romantic chateau dating back to the 19th century on the foundations of a 17th century manor house, lovingly restored by the owners. A warm welcome awaits you in the delightful Chateau du Grand Jardin, situated on the edge of a typical Provencal village. Famous for its lavender fields, it is located in the heart of the region of the famous writer Jean Giono, not far from Manosque, from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and the Verdon Gorges and lakes, one of the most grandiose canyons in Europe. Do relax in the serene and cheerful atmosphere of this elegant home still haunted more than two centuries later by the spirit of Admiral de Villeneuve, tormented by the failure of Trafalgar and Napoleon's fury. Enjoy the atmosphere of olden days in this historic mansion where Jeanne Bonaparte, Napoleon's niece frequently sojourned. Two impressive suites and three charming rooms with individual character are available with secure parking facilities in the courtyard of the chateau. Wi-Fi is at your disposal but not TV which would not be in accordance with the home. Relish the dishes of our 'table d'hôtes' ‘candle-light
