About Can Clotas Hotel Masia

Can Clotas is a typical 14th century Catalan farmhouse (called masia) located in the heart of Alt Empordà, near the village of Cistella (Girona province). A constructed area of 1,500 m2 rehabilitated and gardens of more than 1.000 m2. When we bought the farm a few years ago, we wanted to offer a different rural tourism proposal, prioritizing the quality and with the same amenities of a hotel. That’s why we set to work and we thought every detail of the place to transport our guests to a space where they can disconnect from day to day. We wanted it to be a space to enjoy as a couple or as a family. That’s why some rooms are romantic and others are spacious and comfortable. We also take advantage of the outside space to put a solarium and a swimming pool. Our guests are usually families and quiet couples who come to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, without giving up the comforts of today. It is not only an open space: it is proximity, contact and the participation of the senses.
