Positive Reviews
positive:
Spacious rooms
Many guests were pleasantly surprised by the size of the bedrooms. They were perhaps used to tiny rooms, such as exist at many B&B’s, but were happy to report that the rooms were both spacious and seemed to make good use if this space with seating and other features.
positive:
Good location
The majority of guests definitely liked the location of the B&B. They felt that the neighbourhood, on the outskirts of the historical centre, was much quieter and civilized and allowed them to really relax when returning after a day of sightseeing. Most also reckoned it was easy to get into town by direct bus, with a stop very nearby.
positive:
Onsite parking
Motorists were very happy that the B&B had safe onsite parking. Since this is certainly not guaranteed at Italian B&B’s the availability of parking was perhaps one of the main reasons for them to book here. In any event, most felt that the parking facilities were very good.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Problems with mosquitoes
Quite a number of guests travelling in the warmer months reported problems with mosquitoes in their room. It seemed that if they left their windows open for some fresh air, mosquitoes would inevitably come in and cause a number of irritating issues, not least of which was being bitten.
negative:
Odd smell
Far too may guests for comfort reported a bit of an “odd” smell in the building, typically in the public areas. It was unclear what exactly it was, but guests found it a bit unpleasant.
negative:
No fridge or kettle
A surprising number of guests mentioned missing one, or even both, of these amenities. They would have liked to be able to keep a few drinks and leftovers cool and make themselves a good cup of tea every now and then.
