Negative Reviews
negative:
Quite noisy floorboards in the hotel
A few guests complained about the floorboards being loose and can be quite noisy especially at night. The squeaky noises can easily keep you up at night as the noise travels from room to room.
negative:
The building had no elevator
A number of guests were disappointed by the lack of an elevator in the building. This coupled with the steep and narrow stairs, moving up and down can be a bit of a challenge. This can rather be difficult for the physically-challenged or those with rooms on higher floors.
negative:
Some showers weren't able to produce hot water
A number of guests were shocked to find that even when hot water was available, their showers still produced cold water. They felt that faulty temperature controls was the problem. This was experienced in just a few rooms.
