Positive Reviews
positive:
Fantastic location.
Guests couldn't find fault with this hotel's standout location. Most major tourist attractions were within easy walking distance, and there was a dizzying choice of restaurants and cafes in the area. Saigon Square was eight minutes away, and a convenience store and souvenir shops were also in the immediate vicinity, making guests happy about their decision to stay here.
positive:
Wi-Fi for the win.
Using the Internet wasn't a frustrating experience like it can often be at other hotels. Guests were easily able to use Wi-Fi, and checking e-mails and downloading movies was about as hassle-free as it gets.
positive:
Delicious breakfast.
Guests who opted to try out the buffet breakfast were rarely let down, and you will particularly enjoy it if you like Asian cuisine. Guests said that it was nice to have an onsite option to eat at, without having to worry where to find food to start the day. And it didn't hurt that it was tasty, too.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms have seen better days.
Several guests sited wear and tear as a reason why they wouldn't be returning. Rooms needed a lot of work to be considered acceptable, and things like chipped paint, worn furniture and leaky showers and air-conditioners just didn't cut it.
negative:
Did someone say claustrophobia?
Rooms were too small for some guests to handle, especially for those staying in windowless accommodation. Bathrooms were also said to be on the small side, so do yourself a favour and request a room with a window.
negative:
Unfriendly staff.
Some staff needed a refresher in good customer service, according to guests who were dismayed to encounter hotel staff who barely acknowledged them when checking in. While some guests thought that staff's lack of friendliness was due to a language barrier, others thought that they were just plain rude.
